Amanda is a San Diego native who enjoys exploring the outdoors, doing anything active, and maintaining a strong connection between the mind and body. She found her passion for fitness at a young age. Over the years, she played soccer, ran, skateboarded, competed a high level in Karate, and fell in love with working out. In 2015, Amanda got became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Since then she has experience with Crossfit, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), got into long distance running, and weight lifting (both for aesthetics and strength). Yoga became part her regime in 2016; inspired by mutual friends involved in fitness. She instantly fell in love with how good it made her body feel and recognized how well fitness and Yoga truly complement each other. In 2016 Amanda earned her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, followed by her 300 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in 2018. She is proudly certified and registered through Yoga Alliance. Combining Fitness with Yoga has been Amanda’s premier of focus. Keeping the mind in tune with the body throughout a workout, Amanda will motivate you in many different ways. Amanda provides heart-pumping, well-balanced, and strengthening workouts combined with functional movements to assure optimal performance.
